 Japanese: Transmutation of Love English: A Forger's Love Airdates Japan: October 25, 2003 USA: November 27, 2004 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Ed and Al are on a train. The flashback to the last episode with Roy at the house. They come to a station and are resting when a womans bag is snatched. The lads use Alchemy to make a cage around the guy. A guard says that it was nicely done and that he knows another Alchemist called Majihal who lives in the next town but the dead seem to have risen and that Majihal 'wrote the book' on Human transmutation. The lads go into the work and a boy says they shouldn't be there and the lead boy orders an attack on them. Al breaks a statue as Ed trips up so they are beaten :p. Majahal turns up and fixes the statue with Alchemy (he has a bracelet). Majihal takes Ed + Al home with him and says he knows their father. Ed wants to know about human transmutation from Majihal but doesn't get any real answers. A woman (Reme?) brings some rose jam and then she goes. There is a festival to be happening in town: The Requriem Festival this is to send spirits of the dead back to heaven. The 'lead boy + his dad' arrive at Majihals and it turns out the boy is a girl called Klose. Her older sister was killed by a 'dead girl' and he then runs off. She falls and goes towards the river but is saved by Ed freezing the water before she falls in. Flashback to Klose's sister funeral and a woman is seen (Karin) she died and is said to be the woman who took her sisters life. Ed gets mad at Klose who wants revenge on Karin. Majihal tells the boys how Karin's speciality was to grow blue roses and while delivering them she fell to her death. Ed speculates to Al how Karin comes back including Human Transmutation and the only person around who could do it is Majihal. The lads go into the hallway and hear a 'screaching' type noise. Later Reme causes an accident when she overhears Klose saying he will set a trap for Karin to get her. Ed and Al go searching for Karin and fall into the trap set for her. Klose comes out and then sees Karin. She then goes to lunge at her but is stopped by Majihal who uses Alchemy to banish her. Lust is around and sees everything and calls Majihal a stupid Alchemist before waling off and Ed sees her. Majihal is shown in town. Ed and Al search Majahal's house when Reme sees them. She uses her candle that causes a reaction on Ed he stumbles across dolls that are images of Karin 'His Love' Next the boys are tied up and Majihal reveals he is using girls souls from the village to try and regain his love in body. Majihal wants Ed to do for him what he did for Al. Ed won't so Majihal says he's as stubborn if not more so than his dad. Klose then arrives to thank Majihal but she is taken by him for his next doll spirit. When Reme objects he hits her aside. The boys break free and go to help Reme first. She is wearing a blue rose in her hair. Ed then realises Reme is really Karin. Majihal is trying to take Klose soul into a doll. Ed breaks his circle and shows to him that Karin didn't die and she just got hurt and lost her memory until it returned then she came back to Majihal. He says that Reme is not Karin as she is an old woman. He transmutes a knife to a sword and goes to kill Ed. Al stops him and Ed snatching the rose uses it to transform it to a ribbon and whip the sword from his hand. It goes in the air and lands through Majihal. He still doesn't believe Reme to be Karin and then dies as Karin cries. The festival happens as the boys leave town. The are about to travel when Klose in a dress now comes to wave them bye as they travel on.
