 Japanese: Ishbal Massacre English: The Ishbal Massacre Airdates Japan: January 17, 2004 USA: February 19, 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Armstrong + Scar still fight. Armstrong seems to know where Scar is from + his religion. Ed, Al + Marcoh are on the streets when military pass them. The head down a back ally + find some kids playing. Marcoh says he has to go back. Military find the scene of Scar/Armstrong fight. The area is totally smashed up but they find Armstrong alive. Hughes comes and tells the gathered that Gran is dead. He tells Roy it was a Scar Murder. Armstrong reveals Scar is from Ishbal. Marcoh tells Ed as to where Scar is from. The Ishbal war wasn't a war but a massacer. The people of Ishbal saw Alchemy as devil work because of the god they worship. The military accidently shot a child thus the uprising began. After a long bloody war the military sent in their problem solvers - The State Alchemists. We see a new Alchemist in the flashback (Kimblee). Marcoh did the research as we know and Gran demanded the stones from him. We see Mustang, Armstrong, Gran + Kimblee trashing Ishbal. Kimblee + Gran are totally loving the destruction but Marcoh is in despair. Scar is found, the Bradley orders to have Scar taken down. We see a kid who has hut his ankle. Marcoh explains that State Doctors helped both sides in the war. He heals the kids ankle as we see that Gran ordered the exection of 2 doctors who's station was a staging post for the Ishbal people to give each other info. The doctors were the Rockbells - Winry's parents. We see a young Roy with a gun at his own throat about to kill himself but Marcoh stops him + then escapes. Only a few Ishbal people were spared by the Military. Ed says they can go back to their home town to hide Marcoh at the Rockbell household thus making Marcoh get upset and runs so the boys go after him. We see Scar surrounded. Roy fires at him but misses. He nearly ends up dueling with Scar but Hawkeye legs him up to stop him as it is raining and his glove would be useless. Breda is ordred to the station to keep an eye out for Ed since Roy knows that is where he will head with Marcoh. Scar escapes from the shooting Hawkeye/staff. Ed catches up with Marcoh when Scar finds them. He wants to kill Ed again but when Al goes to stop him he uses Alchemy to blow the side off Al. He then trashes Ed's automail arm + then goes to kill Ed. Ed says fine and his life should be a fair exchange for the loss of Scar's older brother as he is the oldest of the Elric brothers but before he can Marcoh uses the stone to make Scars arm glow which is rather painful to Scar. He then throws the stone in Scars hand so it seeps in causing more pain. Roy/Military arrive so Scar legs it. Al smacks Ed for being stupid. Armstrong sees Al's broken armour with no body so Roy says indeed they did a Soul Transmutation. Bradley's secretary comes with orders to take Marcoh. Marcoh tells Ed the reason he can't go to the Rockbells that they wre the 2 doctors executed at Ishbal. He goes with the secretary + Al thinks he heard his mothers voice from her (hmm)....
