 Japanese: One is All, All is One English: One is All, All is One Airdates Japan: April 17, 2004 USA: September 24, 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: -olders- The boys are on an island and have to survive without Alchemy. We find out they have done this before on the same island. Winry is upset with Izumi who tells her the boys just have to do nothing for a while. Ed wants to escape. -youngers- The young Elrics been taken to island both freak and before Izumi leave them saying to figure out 'One is all and all is one' before she gets back or they don't get to train with her. She leaves them with a knife. -olders- The olders now know what it means. A naked child is then seen in the background. -youngers- The youngers don't know what it means so they sleep. Ed hears something, a masked guy is then seen and attacks telling them to leave. After a short fight they split up and run but end up together the guy is looking for them. -olders- The boys see 2 foxes and laugh, someone is then seen using what appears to be Alchemy and then smiles. Al is in the water and uses his armour to catch fish. -youngers- Al is wanting to know who the masked guy was. Ed catches a rabbit and while they argue who is going to kill it a fox steals it. Ed tries to get it back and is bit by the fox. They chase it and find out it has cubs and they kill it. The manage to then catch a fish when the masked guy turns up again. -olders- Al is cooking fish and is being watched by the kid from earlier. Al leaves the fish and ends up dragging Ed back thinking he's eaten then early but by a hand print they figure it couldn't have been Ed and they know they aint alone. Ed says it's the masked dude from their youth and wants to go duke it out with him once and for all. -youngers- The kids are finding it very hard to survive and even try mushrooms that make them ill. -olders- Al finds Mushrooms that are edible and sees the kid and thinks it was Ed who then appears at the side of him. -youngers- The boys are getting the snot kicked out of them by the masked man. Ed is hurt badly and sees a dead bug being taken apart by ants, Al is in trouble but Ed realises what Izumi wanted to teach them. He takes the knife given to them and challenges the guy with it. The guy then leaves. As their days progress we see them catching fish, killing rabbits and them talking about the human make up. Izumi comes to pick them up, she asks them what 'One is all, and all is one' means. They reply 'The world is all and they are the one'. She is suprised and says she will teach them as promised. -olders- Ed and Al realise Izumi sent them back here to remind them. She returns and they tell her they will move forward. She then asks about who is out in the bushes. Ed says it must be the masked guy from their youth but Mason who returns with her says he was the guy in the mask living on the island for a month to stop them from dying. The kid then comes out of hiding as the episode ends.
