He says no as there's too much pain involved. She tells him of a boy who had his arm and leg done at the same time. When he is gone, Den (the dog) is stirred, Pinako grins and shouts to Winry as the boys and Armstrong arrive. Pinako and Ed have a 'small' argument literally. Winry throws her wrench at Ed for turning up without calling first. Winry freaks when she sees Ed's automail arm is trashed. They deduce Ed has gotten a little taller so his leg will have to be redone as well. Pinako says it will be done in 3 days. Ed is fitted with a spare leg. As Armstrong chops firewood Ed and Den go to visit Trisha's grave. Armstrong tells Pinako when she asks that the boys are strong and have quite a reputation. Pinako remembers first seeing Ed and Al after the failed transmutation to revive their mother and how Ed edured the Automail surgery. It is revealed that the Ed + Al's father left Trisha when the boys were young. Winry's parents were killed in the Ishvarlan war as they were doctors caught up in confilct. Later Ed gets his new limbs. Winry tells him it is less durable and he needs to be more careful but as she is saying it he runs off to fix Al. Ed shows Armstrong Al's soul blood seal that binds is soul into his armour. Ed fixes him up and soon is asleep. Al tells Winry and Pinako of Youswell and how they helped the town, he also says they both appreciate them being there for them even though Ed never shows the emotion. The boys and Armstrong leave to go to Central. When Winry is cleaning her work table she finds 1 screw. So Ed has a screw loose *ok gomen for the bad joke* |
