 Japanese: Body of the Taboo English: Body of the Sanctioned Airdates Japan: October 11, 2003 USA: November 13, 2004 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Cornello taunts Ed + Al about their failure to revive their mother. He then transmutes his staff to a big shoulder gun and shoots the duo. Ed has got a wall up to protect them. They then are seen by Cornello's men and Al then makes his own exit with Al. Cornello's men follow them as Rose + Cornello go to a room. In the room is a man behind a bed curtain and calls Rose...it appears that it is her love Kain who has been brought back from the dead. Rose goes to see Kane but is stopped my Cornello who says Kain needs a few more days for his body to recover. An announcement is then heard as Ed + Al are wanted. The towns people then find Ed + Al who explain Cornello is using Alchemy. Rose arrives and calls them liars and that she head her love Kain. Statues then start to move (by Cornello). Ed is knocked unconcious as we see Al's armour being beaten up. When Ed comes around he is held by two of Cornello's men. Cornello sees Ed's watch and takes it claiming that is how Ed does his amplified Alchemy. Ed then smirks. We then see a guy going to ring the church bell but find it's missing. We then see Al with the bell in the background. In the 'dungeon' where Ed is being held captive. Rose brings him some food and Ed says to her he hopes Cornello is real so she isn't disappointed. When she is gone digging is heard from below as Ed smiles. Cornello is sleeping and dreams of a snake attacking him. He wakes up and find the strange woman in his room and says the stone's secret must be kept as secret. Rose goes to Kain's room against Cornello's wishes. He enters she apologises and he shows Rose 'Kain'...but Kain isn't human it is another bird. Cornello tells Rose she is out of the sun gods favour and as he leaves he makes the bird go for for the kill. However Al saves her. In the dungeon again Ed + Cornello talk as Al outside sorts out a sound system. Ed + Cornello chat again how he does his Alchemy and that he has bigger plans. Ed's hands are then shown free. Ed grins at Cornello and shows a microphone behind him. His 'people' have heard him. Cornello tries to blag his way out of the situation and tries to shoot Ed but fails. Cornello goes outside he finds his people and manages to blag his way out of it by making the statues move again. Cornello says Ed can't do any Alchemy without his watch and to prove Cornello wrongs he makes the Sun God Statue move something that is way bigger than the other statues. Ed goes for the stone of Cornello's but it reacts causing Cornello's arm to go freaky. It turns out the stone was a fake given to him by the woman. Ed + Al are then shown alone, Ed has his watch back with him. Rose the arrives and is annoyed/upset with Ed. Ed then gives her some advice telling her to move on forward. Cornello, Gluttony and the woman are in a room together. The woman tells Cornello the stone was fake and she wants all Alchemists to come to her. Cornello wants to know why but Gluttony asks 'Lust' (Sin #2/Strange Woman) if he can eat the priest. Cornello's face drops and a disgusting ripping sound is heard *ew*. The people are looking for Cornello and he arrives...he brings loads of birds back to life. The people think it is a miracle...but it isn't Cornello as Lust tells us it's Envy (Sin #3) in disguise. The episode ends as Al is projecting some of his past to Rose which we see. Rose runs off crying to where...we dunno...but i bet we haven't seen the last of her.
