 Japanese: The Night the Chimera Cries English: Night of the Chimera's Cry Airdates Japan: November 15, 2003 USA: December 18, 2004 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Roy welcome Ed to the Military and hands him his watch. Ed expected something a little more in the way of ceremony. He orders Havoc to take Ed back to the Tucker estate. We then see Tucker say Nina in a rather strange tone. While on the way home Havoc mentions a serial killer targeting women. When they reach the estate Alexander swipes Eds watch which Ed chases him to get it back. Havoc then tells Tucker his assessment day is coming soon. Later Al suggests Tucker make another talking Chimera and Tucker promises to let the boys be the first to see it. Ed writes to Winry and gets the libs taken by Al + Nina (who claim Winry to be Ed's girlfriend XD) Nina then says she will write a letter to her mom as she left to go back to her parents. Ed talks to Tucker over his wife she left him 2 years ago and the next day he make the Chimera. We then see Ed finding Nina's letter burnt. Ed goes snooping at the central library about Tuckers Chimera notes but finds that only the Brigadeer General (the Iron Blood Alchemist) can give clearance for them to be read. Outside a guy (Scar) tries to enter the library and Ed stops him. We see a weird thing on his arm and we find his brother gave it him. Ed goes to Hughes house where he has his lil girl on his knee (Alicia) he tells Ed that the Chimera that Tucker first made just wanted to die and stopped eating until it did. He then says that Tuckers wife died before he got his job. Yes different story :p. Hughes then gets a call saying the killer has struck again. Ed goes with him and sees a little boy crying over his dead mother and Hawkeye taking him away. Ed sees the mangled body it makes him remember his failed transmutation and faints. He wakes at Tuckers who tells him he has guessed about the failed Human Transmutation. The Military arrive...it's Brigadeer General Gran who says that Ed + Al must leave because of their snooping. Nina is upset but the boys promise to return. The General is not happy with Tucker as Mustang has gotten 'points' over him for finding Ed + Al. He tells Tucker his assessement is in 2 days and he better do something good or else himself will be in trouble for helping Tucker out last assessment. Later 2 guards are taken out at Tuckers and the 2 boys have indeed returned. They find Tucker with psycho animals in cages. He then shows them the new Chimera and it speaks. Ed asks about Tuckers wife + the last Chimera then points out that Nina + Alexander are not there thus finally saying that the Chimera has been fused with a human for the talking...it is Alexander + Nina ;_; Ed starts to beat the crap out of Tucker. Tucker says that he and Ed are alike as Ed continues to beat the snot out of him. Ed then wants to seperate the Chimera but is told he can't because everything is fused down to the very core. The General arrives and takes Tucker away when Ed tells them what happened. They try to take the Chimera away for testing but Ed uses alc to free it. It runs and meets Scar, he then 'frees' Nina + Alexander so they are both dead and their bloody remains imprinted on the wall. Scar leaves knowing why he has the stuff on his arm. Ed and Al then find the remains as Ed then cries for Nina.
