 Japanese: Flame VS Fullmetal English: Full Metal vs. Flame Airdates Japan: December 27, 2003 USA: February 2nd, 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Ed + Al arrive back at the East Base it's throwning it down with rain, Ed starts taking the piss out of Mustang. Al is then shown hidden close by looking like he's done something he shouldn't have. We then hear a scream from inside. It's Breda a tough dude afraid of a lil puppy XD. A guy called Kain brought it in from the rain + since he can't take care of it in the dorms Havoc says he loves dogs and then wants to cook it. Hawkeye takes the dog and tells Kain to find a better owner. Ed + Al enter but we here a Meow from Al thus making Ed drag Al back out to find that he has a Cat hidden. Flashback to their youth in which Ed tried to get their mum to let them have a cat. Ed finally goes to Roy who knows all about what Ed has been up to. We find it has been 3 years since Ed became an Alchemist (and hasn't grown at all). Ed asks Roy about Marcoh (the doctor mentioned in Xenotime who cured the Red Water Sickness) Roy says he knows nothing but will check. Gran then enters along with a hell of a lot of other officers + Fuher King Brad. Ed sees the Fuhers secretary and seems to recognise her (hmm). Roy is not happy that they have all come to stay for a while. We see Havoc spying with Breda and how all the staff who came are State Alchemists. Hughes is showing off Alicia pics. Hughes has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel - Chief of Courtmartial Invesigations. Hughes says the big wigs are leaving Central pretty darn quick. Ed asks Hughes about Marcoh when Gran overhears and says Marcoh deserted during the Ishabal Rebellion. Later Ed wants to trash Roy as he's sure he's hiding info from him. Hughes comes and talks to Ed again about his up and coming assessment. Ed gets his sneaky look and says he has the perfect plan. Ed's request was for a Battle Assessment against Roy. Hawkeye tells the others in the office with her it's about a Cat. If Ed wins Roy has to keep the cat that Al found. Roy enters sees the Dog and gets all manic. Roy says Bradley won't say yes as it would be unfair for Roy to battle with Ed. However Bradley does say yes to the Battle. Roy says he tried to stop Ed getting hurt but will do it, he then says one day he will be Fuhrer. Hawkeye tells him to becareful what he says. The battle between Ed + Roy is about to begin. Another thing is that if Ed wins Roy has to fork over all he knows on Marcoh. The fight starts and an explination of Roy's right glove - it is made of an ignition cloth so he can snap cause a spark and alchemy does the rest - "Boom bombs on command". Ed has to run from all the flame bombs and goes into the crowd. Roy won't toast them all so draws Ed up to above some of the crowd with calling him small. So he just toasts half of the terror-struck staff there. Ed does a quick dummy and runs up behind Roy cutting his glove so he can't make anymore fire bombs. He creates a cannon "Advantage Elric" but Roy shows he has put 2 gloves on for this fight. He explodes the cannon leaving Ed ready to be finished but Roy gets frozen by a face of a young man from the past. Ed quickly takes advantage using his arm as a sword again to take the advantage. Bradley then stops the fight + orders them to clean up the entire yard as it's a huge mess. When cleaning up Ed asks Roy why he hesitated to win the fight. Roy says of the Ishbal rebellion we get a flashback of how he saw his share of the terror. A young man with a gun is there with a huge look of fear on his face. He snaps and raises his gun at Roy who then has to use his flames to kill the man. Roy says Marcoh is still alive. Ed says he won't press for anymore on the rebellion. Inside we find Kain still has the dog. Hawkeye says she'll keep it. It jumps from Kain and pees up the wall. Hawkeye then draws her gun and shoots around the dog saying it won't do that again. Hughes tells Roy that the 'Cornello Town' (Leor) is uprising. General Haruko's Troops have been dispatched to deal with it, the priest that Ed exposed is still there but could be someone else since Ed beat the man. Hughes asks Roy if he should send Ed to investigate but Roy says no as Ed thought he'd saved the town as it was his first 'success' and that Ed will find out soon enough. Outisde we see Ed + Al leave the Cat in a pram as Roy did indeed cough up all the stuff he knew on Marcoh + would be unfair to sick the Cat on him aswell. Back inside Hughes tells Roy the reason why all the staff are there. There is an Alchemist Killer on the loose. The higher staff wore Bradley down into letting them come to East. There have been 5 murders so far (we see a man blowing another officers brains out at that moment making it 6) the murder is Scar who declares it is time to head East.
