 Japanese: The House Where the Family Waits English: House of the Waiting Family Airdates Japan: January 31, 2004 USA: March 05, 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: The boys + Armstrong arrive at the Rockbells much to Penaku's suprise. Armstrong knows the boys situation. Winry throws a wrench at Ed and has a go at him. Penaku states that Ed has gotten a little taller so modifications to his leg need to be made. Ed asks if it can be done in a week. Penaku says he's insulting it will be done in 3 days. The boys are outside happy to be back. Inside Penaku asks Armstrong what the boys have been up to. He tells her that they have a reputation and it can draw trouble to them but they are strong. Al tells Ed he should go to Trisha's grave. Armstrong chops some wood for Penaku to keep himself in shape. Winry's dog goes with Ed and he sees a few old faces. When one of Al's old friends passes he can't remember who she was which worries him. At the grave Ed remebers what he said to Al about how they will survive. Back at the Rockbells Winry goes all gooey over Ed's watch + wants to take it apart. Ed tells her no chance and with that Armstrong makes a hastey retreat taking his watch with him. Later that night Al tells Ed that he can't remember his friends. Ed tries to tell him something but can't. Al is in despair he wants to know. Armstrong then comes in and breaks the tension saying about how the country is nice, moon, stars etc stuff that can't be seen in central. Ed is getting his new parts and arguing with Winry again. Ed doesn't scream but passes out from the pain. Armstrong didn't realise that automail was so painful. Penaku tells him most people scream like children. When Ed comes around we find he has been given lighter automail. He can now fix Al. We find that Al has a circle on the inner of his armour it is the medium between Al's soul and the armour. Armstrong realises that it was made of blood so Ed tells him it was his. He goes all nuts again on the brotherly love. Ed then fixes Al. The bros tell Armstrong that they have mock battles as their teacher told them to practice. So they begin. Winry finally gets her hands on Ed's watch as Armstrong joins in the boys fight. Winry reads an enscription on Ed's watch ' Don't Forget 3.Oct.10'. The boys beat Armstrong with teamwork. Winry hands the watch back to Ed and apologises to him for reading it. Winry cries saying she is crying because they won't. Al, Ed + Armstrong go back to the Elric house ruins. Ed remembers how when they were out late Trisha flashed a light so where they were they could see it and come home. Armstrong tells the boys that they still have a home + a caring family waiting for them. We see Winry flashing a light from her house. Ed says the Rockbells is home before they have to go. Winry tells Penaku about the inscription 3rd Oct 10 is the date they burnt the house they wonder what Ed wanted to remember.
