 Japanese: Crimson Glow English: The Red Glow Airdates Japan: February 28, 2004 USA: April 3, 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: Barry attacks Al again and continues to use mind games against Al. We then some a figure jump over the wall. Barry goes to attack and we find it's Scar. Barry recognises the symbols on Scars arm and activates a switch causing a few explosions one of which causes the sleeping man from last episode to awaken and snap his ropes. He then asks the 'experiments' to join him in causing mayhem. Barry then scarpers inside causing Scar to following as he know if Al is around Ed must be inside not to mention he wants answers from Barry. Slicer tells Ed that more bombs could explode after the main explosion. He also says he'll take Ed to the area where the Philosopher Stones are made. The younger Slicer then says he cannot continue in his body form and when Ed again refuses to kill him he breaks his own blood seal. Ed is upset and then takes the older Slicers head. Two guards are talking saying that prisoners are going to be released. The explosion is heard and a man is heard saying the sound is soothing. He is then seen and named as Kimblee the Crimson Alchemist he was the Military Bomber duing the Ishbal Massacre he killed enemy as well as Military. Gran is then seen walking with other prisoners naturally it's Envy as Lust says Envy is collecting ingredients. Gluttony then summons Lust to a few holes in the ground saying 'It's Him'. Lust isn't too pleased as we find the man from earlier is Greed one of the Sins. Altought he isn't currently there. Ed questions Slicer when Chimeras attack them. A whistle then calls them off. Slicer says it's the Chimera's leader. The lead Chimera enters and we see it's Tucker in a Chimera form! Al and Scar are walking along when Al asks Scar to stop trying to kill his brother. But Scar says no as it is Ishbalas will that he must kill all Alchemists and that Ed is looking for the Philosopher Stone which is a second reason. Al tells him that Ed needs a stone to put himself back to his original body. Flashback into Scars past. The young Scar pounds on his brothers door until he opens it. We find his brother used Alchemy (forbidden by Ishbala). He says he needs a Stone to resurect her but he failed in the normal process. All that is seen is something similar to what Ed and Al created when they tried to bring back Trisha. Next the War in Ishbal is seen and Scar is older. Scar heads to his brothers who leaves the house naked with Alchemy Symbols over his body. He can now see why Ishbala forbids Alchemy/Searching for the stone. 'To bring her back Ishbal must be destroyed' His brother then just walks off. Lust and Gluttony then appear before Al and Scar. Al asks who they are. Scar again asks Lust if she is his brothers work and she has no clue what he is on about. He then tells Al they are Homunculi. Al is suprised by this and says 'They can't be' as Lust extends her fingers. At Tuckers research lab he tells Ed & Slicer that he has various projects going on. Ed looks behind a curtain and see Nina in a Chimera form in a tube. He is told that her body won't survive in the open air just yet. He then reveals he is nearly there in creating a successful human transmutation and ended up in his new twisted form by many failed ones. Tucker opens another door revealing a lab with various alchemic symbols on the walls and floor. There are various tanks with taps. Ed lets a few drops out of a tank and the red water that flows from it solidifies into an incomplete stone. Al, Scar then fight with Gluttony and Lust with Al being knocked off his feet and Scar's shirt on his 'Alchemy' Arm becoming ripped so his symbols are visible. Tucker tells Ed no ordinary Alchemist could make a complete Philosopher Stone. Ed then reminds him that he is no ordinary Alchemist. Tucker grins at this as the Episode Ends.
