Episode 43

The boys are running in the desert. Ed is tried but now knows of Bradley is a Homunculus. Al knows about Sloth but Ed tells him to drop it. They touch and the gate is then seen. Ed doesn't want to lose Al so says they shouldn't touch. He also says they are heading back home.

At the station Archer is on a stretcher. Half of his face is gone. Furey tells Roy that Scar killed Kimblee so Archer launched the attack. Havoc comes and says the Elrics were seen leaving Lior and that no citizens were seen in the area when the transmutation was activated. Bradley arrives and says Fullmetal was responsible. Hawkeye objects but Roy stops her saying that the boys should be given a chance to explain. Bradley agrees but tells them that the boys are working with the ones that call themselves Homunculi and if they resist to kill them. Roy knows he has to find the boys.

Bradley leaves on the train and when out of the station he goes into a back car where we see Gluttony, Sloth joins him and we see Lust impaled by swords to the sidings. Ed's dad is at Trisha's grace. It was 6 yrs ago since she died. He sees Sarah's grace too. Winry knows that Roy was forced to do what he did but finds herself partially respecting him. Ross and Block turn up and tell Scieszka and Winry of the boys being wanted. Dad points to the mountain way and says how he remembers when the road wasn't there. He says he knows how it's a short-cut. Winry clicks that the boys will have to come that way. Ross then thinks that it was over 100 years since there was no road.

The boys are on that way and hide from Braider and Fallman. Furey and Havoc find the boys. Ed puts his hand to Havoc's gun. Al tells Ed to stop which shocks Havoc into firing. Braider and Fallman head back to the shot. Both Furey and Havoc are hurt but not seriously. Roy helps Havoc who asks Roy to pass him his cigarettes and soon takes them when he sees the matches come from a strip joint. We then see Winry and Scieszka coming in screaming as they are on some type of scoota. Hawkeye blasts it. They are under partial arrest. Winry says that she knows that Roy killed her parents but he says nothing.

Ed and Al still going when they are fired upon by rocks. Ed makes a sphere rock to roll on. Roy blows it up and tells Ed that them running makes them look guilty. Ed uses the river to create a shower of water over Roy so he can't create sparks. Armstrong uses his stone Alchemy, Roy takes a match from Havoc's matches to spark creating off shot rocks. Al protects Ed. Roy blocks the boys way with more rocks so they can't run. He advances as Winry yells for him to stop which he does. He admits he executed 2 doctors and how they said how there were no sides but he goes his orders. He tried to kill himself afterwards but didn't have the guts. He then speaks of his oath not to follow unreasonable commands and to reach a goal so he wouldn't have to. Roy reveals he isn't chasing the boys because he was commanded to but because he's pissed that they ran without asking for his help.
