Japanese: The Philosopher's Stone English: The Philosopher's Stone Release Dates Japan: September 2002 (Novel Release) USA: September 2005 UK: Unknown Australia: Unknown Synopsis: The boys arrive at Central where they are met by 2nd Lt Maria Ross and Sgt Denny Brosh (ugh what is it with these people screwing names!). They are to be the boys bodyguards as Scar is still at large. The go to 1st Branch Library and find it has been destroyed. Major General Hakuro wants results out of Roy in the Scar case. A short while later we find Roy wants to be Fuhrer and take over the Military. On the roof of Roy's building Gluttony and Lust talk. Lust is the one who torched the Library to stop Ed finding what he wanted to know. Gluttony then says he smells Scar, when he finds him a fight begins. Ed is talking to a librarian, apparently it is unknown whether the books were in the library. They send Ed to a girl called Sheska who may know. They find her buried under a pile of books. She confirms they were in the library. Ed is peeved but her next revelation suprises them. She read the books and has a photographic memory. She is able to reproduce the entire collection of his books, they appear to be recepies. Though Denny is dubious Ed is smirking as per usual. Ed pays Sheska and it is revealed the books are coded so no normal person would discover their secret. When the boys are studying the books Sheska visits Ed to thank him. Hughes also arrives saying his work has increased as all the Court Martial reports were in the 1st Branch. Ed looks to Sheska who did read them. Hughes is told of her gift and hires here immediatly to rewrite them. After days of research and coding the boys finally decipher the code. Maria and Denny rush in to find Ed is destraught. He reveals that the Philosopher's Stone main ingeredient is living humans in mass numbers. |
