Roy and co find Scar's blood soaked jacket among the ruins of the fight area where Scar + Gluttony fought. Roy wants to see Scar's body (that didn't come out right). Gluttony tells Lust that Scar got away. Lust says she's going back to Central to inform Father of the developments. Ed and Al are in their hotel room, Ed tries to tell Al something when Armstrong crashes in. he bullied Maria and Denny into telling him over the stone. Armstrong tells the boys the truth can be so cruel this triggers Ed remembering what Marcoh said - "The Truth that lies within the Truth" Ed figures that one of the Military Labs has to be involved but he checked them out when he got his State Alchemist certification and found nothing. He looks at a map and finds another lab - Lab 5 but it is closed down. It is directly next door to a prison. He decuces that prisoners may not have been executred but used in the experiments. Armstrong says he'll investigate cause if it is it may reach up into the high ranks of the army. He then orders the boys to stay put, they say they will...ha yea right. They sneak out of their room via the window and go to Lab 5. There is a guard on duty so the boys go over the wall. Ed has to go inside alone via an air duct as Al is too big and he small enough *heh* Inside 2 people calling themselves 48 and 66 plan as they know they have intruders. 48 is to go after Ed and 66 after Al. Ed makes it inside as Al moves just avoding a slice from 66 who is now shown in partial armour and has a skull mask on his face. He declares he will kill Al. Ed finds the transmutation room and wonders if this is where the stone is fused. 48 enters in Samurai armour and says it is. Ed transmutes his arm into a blade and a fight starts. Ed recognises some of the moving and when he kicks 48 he finds that he like Al is hollow. 48 says he is right again. His real name was Slicer, he should have been executed but was used in an experiment. He shows Ed his blood rune in his helmet if Ed breaks it this will finish him the fight then continues. Maria and Denny go to the boys room and find they are gone. They then decide to go to Lab 5 - knowing that is where the boys will be. |
