She is met by Armstrong. Hughes is phoning Roy is annoyed by Hughes talk over his daughter as he is trying to work. Scar is now assumed dead. Hughes tells Roy that rumour has it that Roy is to be coming back to Central. He forgets to tell Roy over Ed being hospitalised. Winry is upset as she thinks Ed being hurt was her fault and he says not. Milk/Small jokes them come thick and fast (as Ed hate milk). Al leaves the room. Hughes visits and tells Ed that he is to be unguarded. Winry says she'll look for a place to stay so Hughes invites her to stop at his house with his family. He drags Winry off shopping for Elicia's birthday. Gracia welcomes Winry to the Hughes home, it's Elicia's birthday party and her toy mouse isn't working so Winry fixes it. Winry talks with Hughes about the boys and how they tell her nothing of their life. Hughes explains that its to not make her worry. When it's the next day and time for Winry to go Elicia doesn't want her to leave and makes Winry her 'big sister' Ed and Al are in the hospital room and Ed is on about Milk again and says Al is lucky with having that body as he doesn't have to drink the stuff. Al responds quite sharply saying 'He didn't want that body'. |
