Hughes' funeral and the top brass are there inc Roy. Elisia wants here father not to be buried. Soon Roy is alone at the grave, Hughes got a double promotion to Brigadier General for falling in the line of duty. Hughes promised to support Roy all the way to the top. Roy tells Hawkeye that a part of him wants to develop a theory on human transmutation and now understands what the boys felt and then he cries. Later Roy pays the guy who told Hughes over Leor. Roy goes to the research room and knows there was a fight from blood markings. He then heads to the phone box and thinks that Hughes must have known something. He also knows that the military could be in trouble. Hawkeye brings Armstong who cannot answer Roy's questions. He does however tell Roy that the Elrics were around there for a few days. Roy know knows a top brass military higher than his own rank is invloved and that whoever it is has an interst in the stone. He declares that he will investigate. In the desert a younger Scar is seen and can smell Ishvalans. Kimblee is then seen for a split moment before we get a scene of Scar fighting Gluttony continuing on from a few chapters previous. Gluttony hurts Scar pretty ban when Lust joins in knocking Scar back into the sewer water. Scar wakes up where a boy coems in. He and an old man saved him. The camp where they are is made up of Ishvarlans who survived. Scar says his arm tattoo is something important from his family. |
