Years ago, the two brothers Alphonse and Edward Elric foolishly broke the taboo of Alchemy by trying to revive their dead mother. As a punishment for attempting go beyond their limits, they lost their original bodies. Now, years after the event, they seek a way to reclaim the bodies taken from them. To accomplish this goal, Edward has become a National Alchemist of the military. Together with his brother whose soul is now bond to a suit of armor, they seek the Philosopher's Stone which can transcend the rules of the world. However, as they seek this incredible power, it soon becomes clear that others, some of them considered impossible, are interested in the legendary substance, and a conspiracy concerning the entire nation slowly begins to come to the surface. |
