Ed is cheesed at Envy and goes to use Alchemy but his arm is stuck. A fight begins between the two with Ed getting pummled for a short while before Envy reveals that Ed is to live. Al is still wondering about the artificial memory stuff and this is making his reactions time slower. Barry goes for a slice when Maria and Denny arrive. Lab 5 begins to blow (as the Homunculi have set off the explosives). Al wants to go inside to save Ed but Maria won't let him. Envy comes out carrying Ed to safety. Ed, Al, Maria and Denny leg it. Barry is free to do as he pleases. In the prison next to Lab 5 there is an uproar as the inmates think it's an earthquake. A prisoner named Kimblee states that it's explosives and how it takes him back to the Ishvarlan war. Ed is in hospital when Maria and Denny visit. Maria smacks him for not trusting the people around him and gives him a lecture on it. Ed admits he was wrong not to trust them. It is revealed that State Alchemists are at the same rank as Majors. Al got the same speech from Denny. Ed then realises there is another lecture to come. He phones Winry and asks her to come over as his arm has siezed up. She says she will come (knowing that the problem is her fault). Denny then teases Ed saying Winry is his girlfriend. Al is seen sat alone, Ed tells him to come to his room. Al is still thinking about what Barry said and can't get it out of his head. |
